I’ve been updating my True Crime Report newsletter almost daily, writing about the mysterious disappearance of real estate executive Ana Walshe. I'm grateful that this has led to many new subscribers for TCR.
This is just a note to say that I plan to update this newsletter more often but between my job with Entrepreneur Magazine, cranking up the pace on True Crime Report, and the fact my elderly mother has been in a bad way for over a month, I’m not getting to much of anything very fast.
My mother’s health has been poor for years, but she’s hung on through sheer toughness and thanks to the cleverness of modern medicine. She’s 85 now, and even though she was vaccinated and boosted, she contracted COVID and the flu simultaneously, which evolved into pneumonia.
At the moment she is recovering in physical therapy, but I am, in some ways, as concerned as I was when she was in the ICU.
So I’m taking things slower because I’m preoccupied and may have to travel soon.
That said, the response to True Crime Report cranking up has been encouraging so I’m staying with my Substacks, I just felt it was only fair to keep subscribers updated since things aren’t moving as fast as I’d planned.
